BOOKBINDING WORKSHOP | Japanese Stab Binding. Handmade notebooks

Description
This introduction-level workshop is designed to familiarize you with Japanese Stab Binding. You will: measure and prepare materials; punch/drill stab patterns; and learn the sequence and rhythm of Japanese-stab binding. In class, you will make Japanese stab-binding notebooks to take home.

Materials: All materials will be provided for in-class use. You will take home the notebooks you create.

Instructor: BRIELLE LEGALET has an Interdisciplinary Visual Arts degree from University of Washington, with a focus on printmaking
